"The Church's ultimate trial"

(point 675- in the Catechism of the Catholic Church)

675

Before Christ's second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the "mystery of iniquity" in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. the supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.

676

The Antichrist's deception already begins to take shape in the world every time the claim is made to realize within history that messianic hope which can only be realized beyond history through the eschatological judgement. the Church has rejected even modified forms of this falsification of the kingdom to come under the name of millenarianism, especially the "intrinsically perverse" political form of a secular messianism.

677

The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection. The kingdom will be fulfilled, then, not by a historic triumph of the Church through a progressive ascendancy, but only by God's victory over the final unleashing of evil, which will cause his Bride to come down from heaven. God's triumph over the revolt of evil will take the form of the Last Judgement after the final cosmic upheaval of this passing world.

Our Lady of Akita Stated:

"The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son.

Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary.

With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and priests.

The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops.

The priests who venerate me

will be scorned and opposed by their confreres;

churches and altars will be sacked;

the Church will be full of those who accept compromises

and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord."

WE ARE ALLOWED TO DEFEND OURSELF.

RESPECT FOR HUMAN LIFE

Art. 5:1, point 2263-2265 in the Catechism of the Catholic Church clearly states:

"Legitimate defense can be not only a right but a grave duty for someone responsible for another's life.

... those holding legitimate authority have the right to repel

by armed force aggressors against the civil community entrusted to their charge"

"Love toward oneself remains a fundamental principle of morality ...to insist on respect for one's  own right to life. Someone who defends his life is not guilty of murder even if he is forced to deal his aggressor a lethal blow."

"Because in choosing to legitimately defend oneself one is respecting the right to life (either one’s own right to life or that of another) and not choosing to kill. Indeed, for someone responsible for the life of another, legitimate defense can be not only a right but a grave duty, provided only that disproportionate force is not used."

(467 in Compendium Catholic Catechism).

THE FALL ... AND A HARD BATTLE

"By our first parents' sin, the devil has acquired a certain domination over man,

even though man remains free.

Original sin entails "captivity under the power of him who thenceforth had the power of death, that is, the devil".

Ignorance of the fact that man has a wounded nature inclined to evil gives rise to serious errors in the areas of education, politics, social action and morals.

(407 in Catholic Catechesis).

According to Archbishop Athanasius Schneider, in an interview on Nov. 2, 2019,

Our Mother Church, is in her time, at Passion.

We, at Commander Cross Rosary, decided then to only pray the Sorrowful mysteries. This was a way for us to follow Our Mother, just as she followed her son on His way to the Crucifixion.

It can be strange to pray the joyful mysteries, when times are not joyful, or in great suffering, likewise, it can feel out of place praying the Sorrowful mysteries when you are not in pain.

There is a great wisdom, in the tradition of the Church and the centuries of Rosary prayers, of having certain days of Joyful, Sorrowful or Glorious. The rythm of prayers help us go far beyond our thoughts or emotions or situations. We follow Our Lord and His rythm.

Through our prayers, we are praying for those who are living different from us, not just focus on ourselves.

We can try to contemplate on how HE lived and what took place on that specific mystery.

It became clear to us to continue to offer, for free, our Step-by-Step Joyful-, Sorrowful- and Glorious mysteries.

It was difficult at the time of the Amazon Synod, and the breaking of the first Commandment, that it actually could get worse. And, suddenly, there is a virus closing our churches, not only the Catholic Church. Church doors closed. Communion was no longer offered to the believers. The Easter celebration was suddenly an event viewed digitally.

The year 2020 is the 150 years anniversary celebrating Saint Joseph as Patron of Universal Church. Commander Cross Rosary created a St Joseph Rosary and commenced fasting and praying a daily Rosary from January 1 up to Easter Sunday. Coming up to Palm Sunday, we fully focused praying the Rosary fighting the virus through our battle mission Rosary.

We believed this to be a great sign!

Our Lord is sending His heavy forces to fight evil. Our Mother was not going to be alone along Her way to Calvary. Her Joseph was right there by Her side, just like she was next to her Son.

From Amazon Synod in 2019 to Pentecost 2020:

  • Idolatry, breaking the first Commandment, carrying heathen symbols into the heart of St. Peter, praising and blessing the symbols.
  • Closing Churches to "protect lives" almost worldwide but keeping abortion centers open.
  • Forbidding communion. (a fullstop right there and not getting into the "in hand" or "tongue")

"on the third day ..."

" 40 days ...

"10 days after ascension..."

"the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to a mountain where Jesus had appointed them; and when they saw him they worshipped, but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying : All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. teaching them to observe all things whatever I commanded you. And lo, I am with you, all the days, to the conclusion of the age."

(Matt 28:16-20)

"till the day in which he was taken up, after he had, through the Holy Spirit, given commandments to the apostles whom he had chosen: to whom he also showed himself alive, after he had suffered, by many infallible proofs, appearing to them for forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. And being assembled together with them he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to await the promise of the Father, which, said he, you heard from me: for John indeed baptized in water, but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days hence. They that had come together therefore asked him, saying: Lord, dost thou at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? He said to them: It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has appointed by his own authority; but you shall receive power, after the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be my witnesses, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

And when he had said these things, as they beheld, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight."

(Acts 1)

A sabbath day's journey later, the eleven apostles are then gathered with Mother Mary, and Peter the twelth apostle, Matthias, is chosen and replacing Judas:

"And when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all together at the same time. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a rushing, violent blast, and filled the whole house where they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues like fire distributing themselves, and it sat on each one of them; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. ...but when this sound had come, the multitude came together and were perplexed, because they heard them speaking, each one in his own language. And they were all astonished, and wondered, saying: Behold, are not all these that speak Galileans? And how hear we, each one in our own language in which we were born, ...how hear we them speaking in our own tongues, the mighty works of God? And they were all astonished and in doubt, saying one to another: What can this be?

...

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and said to them: Men of Judea, and all you that dwell in Jerusalem, be this known to you, and hearken to my words. ...

(Acts 2:1-)

Maybe, just maybe, we experienced the Golgata and Crucifixion and

Resurrection of Our Mother Church on Pentecost 2020?

We thank all our user. It means a lot to us to know that we are not alone.
